hellos:DD yepos. wanna take this time to thank people like
stellachye, weijun, priscilla, bao yu for being there for me
when i'm down . really really wanna thank you guys from
the bottom of my heart. you guys are like the most trustworthy
friends compared to my classmates which are all like acting
"ah lians" and "ah bengs" .. yea . you guys help me in my work,
quarreling problems and even my stress. you guys make me
less stress :DD and next, i really thank God for my CG, CNB6 !!
who have made my life intresting and make me go back to the
gentle me. its like before i accpected Jesus into my life, life has
been so miserable.. my good friends backstabbed me, cheated me and
all sots of things. after accpecting Jesus into my life, I made alot of
friends which i think that they're trusworthful enough to tell them
about my life and even family problems. Its like a big diffrence ! Back to my point of my CG, really wanna thank God for Zyann & Jess for their
hardwork anddd my DARLINGG shepherd, BAOYU!!! she's been there

Haha well tis is e first entry written in 2007..lol. Just wanna take some time to thank God for such a wonderful n trilling year i had in 2006! Especially, wanna thank God for ppl in tis beloved cg CNA2! Ppl who has made my life interesting n has spice up my life greatly! Of cos they are ppl like karen, josephine, grace, eryu, stephanie, xueni, rachael, pearlene n jade! Though we came to know God in different ways.. yet able to serve n take care of them in e same cg is really amazing! Really treasure and appreciate all of you in my life! =) Hey girls! I truly believe tat each one of you has much potential to do more for the KOG!! Let's grow closer in our relationship with God and loving each others as brothers and sisters! haha.i realised after posting a couple of posts i nvr post anymore.makes me feel that im a consumer here.haha.aniwaes,CN ldrs had a retreat on fri and it really brought abt the closeness CN haf on general.personally i am glad tt im servin in this grp than any others and God definitely has His own reasons 2 place every single one of us here in this big family!lets not jus haf christmas durin christmas but let's haf christmas in everday in our hearts!always rmb the fateful day wen Jesus was born,so did salvation and let tt dwell in our hearts 4 eternity till the end of end days!4 that i thx God 4 all of us here in CN and be it leader or member,God's Kingdom can use all of us! cheers!

God's Miracle

Who's up to hear about God's miracle??

Yeah, i'm sure all of you do!
GOd is wonderful!
I wud just share a brief one to you guys:)

Initially, CNA/TPY really started small or i would say rather not prominent.
We have around 16 people in CNA. However, we are always stuck around 12-14 ppl for svc for the past few months. It really requires faith to even hit 20 for us.
The leaders often come together to discuss n pray how can we really break this 15-20 ppl once and for all. It wasnt easy as we went thru many periods of discouragements of not hitting goals, ppl not connected to GOd, etc. ( You can ask Bernard & Yenli personally)

Our initial goal was 15 b4 xmas! We were all excited to break it! Yup and God is good!
WE broke it once in a while...not that stable though.
So as Christmas draws near, we've to definitely set our christmas goal, etc.
Actually i planned to set 25... however, as i think thru n decided to trust God for BIG things-
i set 30. It was really challenging as we never even broke the 25 or 20 mark b4!!
I fasted n prayed in he mid november until the start of the camp! It was really refreshing n i drew closer to GOd.

Then came camp, our beloved pastor david chen has indeed did an MIGHTY work in the youths in Y-HOPE! Everyone was so charged up after the camp!! We were all challenged to bring 1 person down for JEsus!! People were all out to share the gospel for Jesus despite rain or shine! (Btw, God did a miracle in allowing Elwin n Stephanie to come for camp!!!^^) The routine for the group everyday was evangelise, evangelise and evangelise.

We had 2christmas svc! The 1st one was at NExus.
During the first christmas svc, We din have much contacts but Josephine did her best as well n she managed to bring GRACE!! She re-dedicated her life to Jesus!! Wow!! It's really great to have Grace with us!!
Things started to pick up!
WE couldnt take it lying low what was happening last week, so we continue to work hard for Jesus! For the Christmas svc @ kallang, Our confirmation was around 24...
Many of us brought our frenz! Ppl like braynard, who brought his sister(who received jesus!), kelvin,josephine,grace,weijun,calvin and myself~~!! The people were really workin hard!
God is good all the time n is faithful!!

WE hit 28!!

It is really a testimony that only God can give!
Cuz we've been stuck at 11-14 for svc. We din break the 20 mark at all b4...neither the 25 mark!
CNA1's goal was 12 but always stuck around 7-8 but this time they hit 16!!! For CNA2,their goal was 8 but they've been hovering around 4-6, this time, they even broke 8!! They hit 10!!
Well done, Bernard, Siyuan and Yenli! They are really persistent to their goals! Never givin up!! Their spirit is really wonderful, always can be depended on. With them leading the CNA as well, it'll definitely make lotsa impact n advance the kingdom of GOd greatly! Having you guys by my side really makes a BIG difference! Thank you!You guys have great potential n dreams for christ! You can SURELY be powerful ldrs for Jesus, going beyond my capability! I want to see that day coming!

I would also like to affirm ppl like..

Braynard, who is very excited to bring ppl to Jesus! I can rmb on the day to evangelise after the prayer meet @ Bishan stadium, you actually shared the bridge diagram to me in a very interesting n excited way! haha! Also, completed the homework!! Thank God for you man!

ErYu, who actually has parental objection in comin out, but you really stood firm!!
ANd you managed to come for the christmas service!! Wow, i really admire ur perseverance! Keep it up! One day, you'll really do something GREAT for GOD! God'll use you cuz u avail urself to Him:) I'm awating for tht day! Hang on!

Kelvin, i can still rmb the day in camp when you decided to grow in courage!! I really see tat happenin! You have grown compared to the first time i saw u! I want to affirm you for bringin your fren down! You really work hard! I'm so impressed! You'll definitely make a big difference for GOd in MSHS! Though u are young, but God can surely use you big time!! 1 tim 4:12

There are really alot of people in CNA i wan2 to affirm- chicky(oh, for allowing us to use ur place for the xmas party! n ur hospitality to us), melvin, grace, josephine, bryan, stephanie, karen~~ those who have worked hard in this period!!
The rest are not forgotten too!
You guys are wat that make up this unit~CNA, the strong&biblical ppl of TPY (that's one of my vision as well^^) W/o u guys, the unit cant function well, cuz every ONE matters to me and to GOd! Support your leaders cuz they give their best for u!They are wonderful ldrs!
Let us continue to be together as we win TPY! LEt's keep up the momentum, not drop it. Let's see more new faces in CNA for jesus! Let's break 20 n beyond! 20,30,40,50....so on ...
This is one of my thanksgiving point in 2006!! What a great end to 2006!!

am reali very encouraged by all of u man!! ever since the prayer meet on mon in bishan stadium and then we all begin our outreach since then...
e more i see the Burning Desire you guys have, the more i am very inspired n spurred too.
Ever since we started our outreach, i can see we all jus wanna cheong n gif our very best in wanting to reach out to the lost out there...reali believe all you who had reali given your very best in this, will gonna reali benefit n grow much too becos i am one of them who felt this way too.
As we go out to the street to outreach, the love for GOd n the lost souls out there will reali overcome the fear to approach them becos we noe people NEED GOd n Matter to GOd.
Lets not give up but continue reachin out and persever on,cos we noe when we reali celebrate after the harvest period, all you who have reali participated and given your best in this will gonna feel a sense of fulfillment man!!!

we had a retreat together at Jalan Kayu Prata which for most of us.. its our FIRST time there.
we had lotssss of fun n Laughterrr..it's reali great to serve God together and play hard together as a family.
we haf extended our mulitplication proj deadline to 1 MORE wk (till 9DEC)

wooooo~took me a long tym b4 i find the link 2 post my entry. a breakthru all by itself.hah. aniwaes, im here 2 share wif all of you somethin i had caught while watchin the fast and the furious:tokyo drift.

'4 a need of a NAIL, a horseshoe was sacrifice. 4 a need of a horseshoe, a horse was sacrificed. 4 a need of a horse, a message was lost. 4 a lost message, the WAR was lost.'

It really hit me a lot in this small story how impt every single 1 of us are in the KOG! u can be a member or a shepherd or cl or wateva 'l' u can be, but the truth is that if ur willing 2 allow God 2 use u, u can make a difference in the bigger picture as well! see how it had first started out jus 4 wanting a nail, it ended with having a war lost. the nail might seem insignificant at first, but because of that 1 nail, it made a difference in a war. it really hit me that you can jus be a small role in this CN60 or Yhope1000, but wat we do actually matters A LOT 2 the KOG! u might be able 2 jus bring 1 person to noe God or u might also be able to bring 10ppl 2 noe God, but the truth is that be it 1 or 10, God still loves ALL. 4 wen 1 comes 2 noe Jesus, the ENTIRE heaven rejoices!!

Hey CN! Would like to share testimony to all of you!
Today, or rather last aftnoon, coz have quite a long break in b4 another of my lesson starts, so one of my frenx actually asked me out (means go out of sch, which is allowed in poly). So i agreed and i wana tk tis opportunity 2 SOW on my frenx also. So we went out. In my heart, i was prayin v hard how i can actually tk a step nearer to my frenx so tt i can brin her 2 Christmas or even b4 tt. Just as we were setting off, both of us were very quiet and i was prayin reali hard wat can i talk abt. Just then, one of her frenx called and had an disagreement and argued. So started by asking her if she's alritex and if everythin's ok.Then she con't by sharin her feelins and tots abt tis. She felt kinda depressed and frustrated regarding it and she cant contain it anymore so she let it out by sharing to me. Wow, reali tink tt it's reali a God-Given chance tt i can start talkin 2 her more and take another step closer w her. We sat smwhr 4 abt one-hr coz was talkin and consoling her etc and in-turn she felt much better. (Bearin in mind tt i was reali fastin&prayin hard abt outreach opportunities) Believe tt all tis happened are nt an accident but it's by God's Plan and His Amazin way of workin!She gave a funny comment but assured her tt it's alritex, will keep it 2 myself unless she wana share it 2 other frenx. (I was the 1st one she approached 2 share tis matter 2 me). The SOWin was reali reali fruitful as our relationship deepens and bcum closer can see tt God is openin up doors/ways for me and we shared abt our lives such as wat we went thru n i can understand how it feels. Wat's more, tis frenx of mine actually shld b closer to my another frenx so i'm the unlikely one that she would share to but instead should hav shared to her frenx but she shared to me and our relationship has surely bcum so much closer! God does work in miraculous ways, in ways we don see, in ways we don even tink it may happened/work! <<>>
Also, on monday i was praying&fasting for God 2 provide opportunities and help me to draw nearer/closer to my frenx so tt i can reachout 2 em more readily and to pour in fruits! And God answered my 1st 2 prayers gradually! Reali tksful 2 God man! Am reali amazed by how God reali worked and intervened!
Though nt in high school, but evangelism is always a lifestyle, nt a seasonal matter,der4 we can reach out 2 any1!

Reali wana encourage every1 of us let's be fervent in reachin out 2 the lost coz they are the ones that need Jesus. The church exist for those yet 2 know e Love of God and not the believers! Like wat Pastor Shirley shared on Believers' Gathering, Prayer&Fating w/o being desperate is nt powerful. The power don lies in how many times ya P&F but it lies in ya dependence on God. It's bcoz ya're desperate,tt's y ya would wana seize every opportunities; Similarly i'm desperate, tt's y i reali wana grab every chances i'm given! Wana urge all of us, now as we're on "Multiplication" Proj, let's reali b desperate 4 growth and breakthru and seein new tings happenin! Proj itself is dead, but we're e ones that makes it ALIVE! God blesses those who are reali desirin and desperate and do their best! E same God tt works thru n in me, will do the same 4 ya too! Just as e same God tt helped n blessed me, e same God can do the same 4 ya too! Do join me in tis joy, exciting and adventurous experience of seein yaself investin in ya frenx and seein them crossin the line! E joy is indescribable! Don lose out in tis! Ya matter! CN shall be one that inspires ppl, amen?!? Have faith and see tings cumin to pass!

hey CN! we had prayer meet
earlier this morning.
though i think its just prayers
but no worship..
but i think it was good enough.
let me share with ya something.
actually i agreed with what
bernard has said in the prayers.
i think he meant it in his heart.
" God no matter just prayers
with or without worship
we're still worshipping the same ever God!"
i totally agree with him.
his prayers were all very sincre.
which is what God loves to hear!
Good effort praying just now bernard!
we prayed for

1) Group Growth.
2) Members' Lives.
3) Have Compassion For Non-Believers.

CN, let's continue praying for
all the above prayer points.
Prayers are very important!
Make your prayers to God
as sincre as possible.
So tt God sees our
compassion for His people,

Am here to share a testimony on behalf of casandra!
yea! She had been grounded from going SS.
But by faith tt god will help her,
she sneak out of hse last sat, which is ytd, to ss.
w/o telling her parents.
& Amazingly aft de NW MOS meet(ard 8+) she reached home,
her parents wasnt home yet!

eventhough cass noe wads de consequences if her parents found out tt she went to church,
she still chose to trust in the lord!

so wanna encourage you guys out thr,
be it u r facing parental objection or u r afraid to receive christ bcox of ur parents,
tt when we step out by faith,
god is gonna take care of the rest!

Believers' Gathering and Service
were awesome earlier this afternoon.
Today's Believers' Gathering was about

" The Habit Of Fasting. " (Week 5)
Matthew 4:1-4
I've learnt alot from Ps Shirley.
learnt that fasting is not dieting...
Fasting is neither forcing God to
in return do anything for us...
Then, what is fasting all about?
but fasting is declaring God's
reliance and dependence.

1. Fasting is Concentrating On God (v1-2a)
Fasting is never because of
quantity or duration but
an attitude of our heart.
When we fast, we need
to have an objective.
What we are fasting for?
Our own personl life?
Our group growth? etc.

2. Fasting is Self-control (v2b-3)
If we grow in self-control thru fasting,
we'll grow so much more!
Fasting on food..
Fasting is not just a battle
for the stomach but for the mind.
If we can control our tongue,
we can grow in all parts.

3. Fasting is Feasting On God (v4)
When we fast, we feast on every Word of God.
Feastinfg is a spiritual buffet!
YUM YUM!
Let's start fasting and praying for
God's Kingdom to grow from gloy to glory!

Today's sermon preacher was Ps Jeff.
His sermon today was about:

" When The Holy Spirit Leads Us. "
Acts 8:26-40
It was a sermon about what we can
do so that the Holy Spirit will continue to lead us.

1. Be Ready To obey The Holy Spirit (v26-30a)
Romans 8:14
We can't ask of more of the HS, instead ask
the HS to have more of you.
Obey what the Holy Spirit tells us.
Be it share Christ to this stranger, etc
In order to be led by the Spirit,
we gotta first be willing to follow the Spirit.
Psalm 119:105

2. Have A Heart For Pre-Believers (v30b-38)
In order:
"Jesus, went , saw , He had compassion."
John 4:35

3. Have A desire to Complete God's Work
(v39-40)
The Holy Spirit will lead us
when we desire more of Him.
Matthew 28:18-20
God will surely use us (Surely means 100%)
DESIRE more Of God!
Matthew 9:35-28
pray also for the workers cum harvesters.

thru these two teachings.
let's apply what we've learnt
and account to our shepherd and leaders!
I'm very sure that your leader will be more
than willing to help you guys! amen.

Hey hey! See? Just to show you guys, it's the soccer mactch we had with the pastors!! There are really world-wide pastors! So inspired to see the Great Commission happening b4 my eyes!! Our president,
Pastor PN is the one with checkered pants! IT was really a great game!! DK was the goal keeper! Dewen was chasing the ball! it was during our free time and so we decided to just explore the Resort...Suddenly we stepped into the Pastor's hideout! So, pastor jeff caught us and told us to play with them..haha! It was really refreshing! Sensed the powerful Aura! Yup!

Ain't it cool? One of the pastors i admire alot, out of the many others.
It was b4 dinner and we took a photo with him!
Pastor David Chen was really a man of faith!
The night when Pastor Shirley called him into our room for a time of discussion& talk about the camp was magnificent...though it was a informal sharing but i caught aloT!! The time really boosted me in many ways&perspective in serving my Jesus!
Too much too share...haha! I'll continue to update soon!
Let's GIVE all we can for Jesus! IT is a worthy cause! Let's get everyone to get to camp!
